Toronto-native Suzie Sayah studied piano in Newmarket for nine years with Alexander Collins. While studying at Western University, Suzie earned scholarships and made the Dean’s List for academic excellence. She achieved her Bachelor of Music in Voice in 2015 under the tutelage of Jen Moir and James Hibbard. After graduating, Suzie obtained an A.R.C.T. Piano Performer’s Diploma and an A.R.C.T. Teacher’s Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM).
Suzie has taught piano and voice since 2007. She has taught in schools and at several music studios, including Yamaha Music School in Richmond Hill. Her students perform in annual recitals and festivals and achieve high marks in RCM Examinations for Piano and Theory.
Suzie founded Suzie’s Music Studio in 2017 to offer holistic and dynamic music education. She loves teaching and believes music is foundational for lifelong learning.
You and Suzie will work together to select repertoire and plan a year-long curriculum that meets your unique goals. In each weekly lesson, Suzie will showcase your improvements and define the next steps in your music education.
The Studio hosts recitals and festivals throughout the year. Should you choose to participate, Suzie will help you prepare a performance piece during your lessons. We can’t wait to see you showcase your talents!
